Board of Directors

Dr. Raymond Lee, the founder and the President of IATOPIA.com Limited, received his B.Sc. from Hong Kong University in 1989; he received his M.Sc. and PhD from Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 1997 and 2000 respectively. After graduation from Hong Kong University, he joined the Hong Kong Government in the Hong Kong Observatory as a meteorological scientist for weather forecasting and took part in the development of telecommunication systems for the provision of meteorological services from 1989 to 1993.

Prior to joining the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in Sept. 1998, Raymond also worked as MIS Manager and System Consultant in various business organizations in Hong Kong. In his work, he developed various IS and e-commerce projects, such as management support systems for Supply Chain Management (SCM) in retail business, regional Point-Of-Sale systems, and Client-Server based system integration projects.

His major research areas include: Intelligent Agent Technology (IAT), Agent Ontology, Chaotic Neural Networks, Pattern recognition, Epistemology, Visual Perception and Visual Psychology, Weather Simulation and Forecasting, Intelligent E-Commerce Systems.

The business organization of IATOPIA.com Limited is highly structural divided into FOUR major subsidiaries: IATOPIA Technology Limited, IATOPIA FreeWalker Limited, IATOPIA Finance Limited and IATOPIA Research Lab; which respond to the FOUR major areas: Technology and Consultancy, spin-off business, front-door .com business and the R&D development of IATOPIA™.
