IATOPIA™ has over 10-years of experience in Intelligent Agent Technology (IAT) research, development and product support. The company was built on the success of the IAT software product, created by IATOPIA™ Founder and President, Dr. Raymond Lee. IATOPIA™ then combined its research and development capability with real-world experience to create a new enterprise application development environment, IATo™ Development Platform. In 2006 the company launched the new generation of IATOPIA™ Development Platform with IATology-20000 ontology engine, which built and managed the over-flooding web information.

Milestone

Nov 1997: Dr. Raymond Lee founded IATOPIA™ project and started the theory development and system modeling.
Sept 1998: Developed the first prototype, IATOPIA™ Shopper v1.0 using IBM Aglet™ as the agent development platform.
Apr 1999: Launched the IATOPIA™ v1.0 project for the design and development of a totally new and AI-based Java intelligent agent platform and software library (1st AI-based intelligent agent platform in the market).
Feb 2001: Released IATOPIA™ v1.0 for internal use and developed the IATOPIA™ applications:

2. IATOPIA™ WeatherMan v1.0
3. IATOPIA™ Stock Advisor v1.0

Apr 2003: Developed IATOPIA™ Surveillant v1.0 (based on IATOPIA™ v1.0)
Jul 2003: Conducted IATOPIA™ 2003 open seminars and training workshops
Jan 2004: Released IATOPIA™ version 2.0, with the support of GPS Location-aware Technology
Jun 2004: Totally around 50 universities, research labs and institutions using IATOPIA™ for developing agent applications. FIPA, the standard of IAT, was adopted by IEEE as Agent Technology standard
Jul 2004: Conducted IATOPIA™ 2004 open seminars and training workshops. Dr. Lee condensed his theory for book publication
Oct 2004: Launched IATOPIA™ Cryptology Project for the design and implementation a new standard of agent-based cryptography framework
2004-05: Developed 2nd generation IATOPIA™ applications (using IATOPIA™ v2.0)
